  3. Events and Venues • 1st EELA Conference • Date: September 4 – 5 • Venue: Universidad Técnica Federico Santa María (Sede Santiago, Av. Santa María 6400, Vitacura, Santiago – Chile). • 4th EELA Tutorial • Date: September 6 – 7 • Venue: REUNA capacitation room (Canadá 239, Providencia, Santiago – Chile). • E-Science National Congress • Date: September 6 – 7 • Venue: NH Hotel (Av. Condell 40, Providencia, Santiago - Chile ) 2nd EELA Workshop, Itacuruça 25.06.2006

Hosts • Universidad Técnica Federico Santa María – UTFSM • Universidad de Concepción – UDEC • Red Universitaria Nacional – REUNA • Cooperación Latino Americana de Redes Avanzadas – CLARA All these institutions are working together for both EELA events. UTFSM and REUNA are kindly contributing with the venues for the Conference and the Tutorial respectively; both institutions plus CLARA are contributing with manpower, and CLARA plus UDEC (hopefully) will also contribute with some money for some of the expenses. 2nd EELA Workshop, Itacuruça 25.06.2006

EELA Conference and Tutorial Costs • Costs marked in this colour could be assumed by CLARA under its WP4 budget ($ 5.840,650) • The costs of the lunches and coffee breaks for the Tutorial are not considered here, but they could raise the events budget in not more than €1.170. • REUNA is working to get some sponsors for the EELA Conference and Tutorial, mostly thinking of the renting of PCs (for the Tutorial) and of an Official Cocktail or Dinner. • So, not already covered items that we need to take care of: • PCs (rent): € 3.252 • Official cocktail or dinner: € 6.000 • Tutorial coffee breaks and lunches: € 1.170 • TOTAL: € 10.422 2nd EELA Workshop, Itacuruça 25.06.2006
