DSWG Prioritiesfor Remainder of 2005 • Investigate and develop a solution to Day Ahead purchase of LaaR’s for AS RRS Market • Investigate and propose demand side solutions for emergency fuel supply curtailments • Investigate and propose demand side solutions for a system wide loss of load event (1 in 10 years) • Identify DS Programs at other ISO’s and compare to ERCOT Programs • Develop procedures for DS Program Inclusion in Reserve Adequacy Planning • Modify Load Participation part of ERCOT Internet Site

DSWG Meeting HighlightsJuly 22, 2005 • Emergency Demand Side Programs • PRR 615 – Use of DLC Programs for Planning Reserves • Negative AS Bids and Adjustment Period Markets • Draft PRR—Floor Price for AS Bids – Withdrawn by the proposer • PRR619 —Day Ahead Procurement of LaaR’s would count all bids equal or below MCPC as ties and prorate bids • Load Participation Update • 79 LaaR resources, 1758 MW capacity, 8 QSE w/ 2 new QSE in qualification process
