Presenter: Johnny Lee, CGAP, Compliance Accountant About: Founded in 1891, Seattle University is a Jesuit Catholic university located on 50 acres in Seattle's Capitol Hill neighborhood Student Population: More than 7,400 students are enrolled in undergraduate and graduate programs within eight schools and colleges. 2013 P-Card Volume: $7,225,361.63 Seattle University

  7. Presenter: Bob Watson, Manager of Procurement and Contract Services About: Rose–Hulman Institute of Technology, is a small private college specializing in engineering, mathematics and science. Its 295-acre campus is located in Terre Haute, Indiana. Student Population: Enrollment is 2,100 undergraduate students and just over 70 graduate students 2013 P-Card Volume: $3,302,595.63 Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology

Currently has 198 active cards on campus Purchasing is de-centralized, P-Card management is centralized No departmental cards, all cards issued to individuals Card usage is optional, but the program has ‘sold’ itself Facilities and Bookstore are major P-Card users Monthly reconciliation through MasterCard smartData integrated with Ellucian’s Banner Business Office has seen a dramatic drop in checks printed and emergency check runs Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology

Our Lady of Holy Cross College • Presenter: Arlean Wehle, Vice President for Finance and Operations • About: Located in New Orleans, Louisiana, Our Lady of Holy Cross College was founded in 1916 as a Ministry of the Marianites of Holy Cross, and was created to educate and prepare teachers in the Marianite Sisters tradition • Student Population: Over 1,100 • 2013 P-Card Volume: $169,960.58

Our Lady of Holy Cross College • P-Card Volume increased from just under $100,000 in the program’s first year to $169,961in 2013 • Eight cards for Senior Management, centrally managed • Upgrading from Great Plains to MS Dynamics GP with MasterCard smartData connector support • P-Card Benefit for OLHCC • Reduced manual checks • Ease of use for end users • Improved vendor payments
