  4. El Examen • Clear your desk • Write your name, class period and date on your test. • Take your test. • Turn it into the correct box. • Start the reading activity.

  5. After you turn in your exam, do each step described below in order… La Revista: ¿Quétal? • 1. Abre la revista a la página 8. • 2. Contesta las preguntas en “antes de leer” en tu cuaderno en la sección para los apuntes. • 3. Lea los párrafos sobre los estudiantes. • 4. Haz las actividades de la página 9 en tus apuntes • 5. Lea el párrafo de la ciudad en voz alta con tu compañero. Open the magazine to page 8. Answer the questions in “before you read” in your notebook in the notes section. Read the paragraphs about the students. Do the activities from page 9 in your notes. Read the paragraph about the city out loud with your partner.

  6. La Tarea: • Write down 4 questions in Spanish on your la tarea paper. • Ask 2 people the questions and record their answers. They can be family members or friends. If you don’t know anyone who can speak Spanish, teach them what they mean and then practice asking and answering the questions with them. • Have the 2 people sign below their answers .

  7. ¿Ausente? • If you were absent today, please do the following to make up your absence. • 1. Complete the La Campana in the La Campana section • 2. Be sure your homework from last class period is complete. • 3. Come in during Intervention or before or after school to do your notebook check and to take the exam. • 4. Read what to do for homework on the la tarea slide and bring your homework to turn in within 5 school days of your return. • 5. Write a conversation or paragraph that totals 50 words or more. (Turn it in to the box to receive your participation points.)
