  2. ANIMAL CLASSIFICATIONS • There are five different groups of animals with vertebrates • These classifications are: • Mammals • Fish • Reptiles • Birds • Amphibians

  3. The Bull Snake’s Animal Classification • The Bull Snake has certain characteristics that make it a reptile. • Here are some of its attributes. • Bull Snakes are cold-blooded. • They have dry, rough scaly skin. • They have lungs and they lay eggs.

  5. Appearance The Bull Snakes are up to 5 feet long . They can be from yellow-brown to cream-colored, with black and brown markings . They have a small head and a large nose. The Bull Snake is not venomous. They smell using there tongue. They have a light brown belly. It uses its nose to dig a hole.

  6. Bull Snake Habitat The Bull Snake lives in North America in sandy places like the prairies. They also live in open forest, farm lands, and brush. Some Bull Snakes live in hot temperature. Some Bull Snakes live in warm temperature. Bull Snakes live in North America.

  7. Bull Snake Enemies Bull snake enemies are hawks and eagles and other large bids. Some other enemies are wild boars, mongooses, raccoons, coyotes, and even other snakes. Even humans and other large things.

  8. Bull Snake Diet They are meat-eaters. Another name for meat-eater is omnivore. Bull Snakes swallow their food whole. They eat head to back. They eat burrowing animals. Some of their prey are mice, frogs, rabbits, gophers, and ground squirrels.
