    3. Our Goal To design an automated fueling and purging system in order to have a fuel/air mixture that is still turbulent when combustion occurs ChristyChristy

Current system Current system uses manually operated valves to introduce fuel and air The fuel/air mixture inside the chamber is no longer turbulent when combustion occurs Combustion of a turbulent fuel/air mixture may have a positive impact on overall combustion by mixing burnt and unburned gases, similar to actual engines ChristyChristy

    5. Primary Requirements Fuel rapidly enough to introduce turbulence Purge system after combustion Control fueling through LabView Withstand pressure and temperature requirements ChristyChristy

Safety & Environmental Requirements Safety 2 safety issues: Guarantee flow of fuel/air mixture will only go in one direction Tank the holds the fuel/air mixture before filling the test chamber will be safe in case of an explosion inside it Environmental Issues Test conducted in pre-approved lab No environmental issues to take into consideration ChristyChristy
