Opportunities Indicators of a good job market for IS graduates in 2010 • Gartner predicts a boom for systems analysts in 2010 simply because companies have to do the IS projects that they’ve put on hold • The Obama administration will create 50,000 new IT jobs in 2010 in healthcare.   12. Opportunities • Enrollment may increase simply because IS looks better than other majors • We may produce better students simply because they know securing employment will be a challenge • We’ve developed relationships with companies that will help with job placement
