  3. Raisio - in numbers • upper secondary = three year pre-university education • enrolment 520 • one of the biggest in the region (tendency to bigger units in FI) • In Raisio dual-degree course (vocational combined with upper secondary/gymnasium/liceo)

  4. ICT in Raisio • 23 classrooms • 2 multimedia rooms (50 computers) • 1 language lab • 60 laptops (+ 20 in eMath) • BYOD recommendation • every classroom with Internet connection, active whiteboard, document camera • heavy investment on open wifi (students / administration / teaching)

  5. eMath • since 2011, electronic math book • (EU project, university of Turku, Stockholm, • Tallin + upper secondary schools) • scope: three teachers, 20 first year students AIMS • improve math literacy/skills (algorythms) • get female students to choose advanvced • courses of math

  6. Electronic portfolio • a course for all first year students • diginatives – yes, but no academic ICT skills • focus on the use of VLEs, PLEs, audio, video • creativity, students’ own learning paths documented • entrepeneurship! • AIMS: • future skills, distance learning experience for all
