  2. Saskatchewan'sPROVINCIAL FLAG • Saskatchewan’s provincial flag is green and yellow • Saskatchewan adopted their flag on September 22, 1969 • On the Saskatchewan flag there is a western red lily.

  3. Saskatchewan’s provincial flower • Saskatchewan’s provincial flower is called the western red lily. • The western red lily was chosen to be the provincial flower in 1941. • The western red lily is a perennial plant.

  4. Saskatchewan’s provincial TREE • Saskatchewan’s provincial tree is called the white birch. • The tree hasn't lived longer then 140 years. • The white birch is also called the paper birch. • +

  5. SASKATCHEWAN’S PROVINCIAL BIRD • Saskatchewan’s provincial bird is called the sharp- tailed grouse. • The sharp-tailed grouse is the largest grouse. • The sharp-tailed grouse nests in May and June.

  6. Quebec’s provincial flag • Quebec’s provincial flag is blue and white. • Quebec adopted its flag onJanuary 21, 1948 • On the Quebec provincial flag there are flowers and they represent the kings of France.

  12. Would you rather live in Saskatchewan or Quebec We would rather live in Saskatchewan. Some of the reasons are: • We wouldn't have to learn French. • So we don't have to leave our friends. • Cause there are great farming fields.
