  2. Architect Vocabulary • Blueprint: A photographic print that is either blue on white paper or white on blue paper used for architects' plans.

  3. Architect Vocabulary • CAD (Computer - Aided Design): A software program architects use to create designs.

  4. Architect Vocabulary • Structure: Something that is constructed, like a building.

  5. Architect Vocabulary • Design: A plan that is drawn, created, or constructed.

  6. Architect Vocabulary • Drafting Tools: Tools that are used to draw designs. Some examples are slides, rulers, and flat scales.

  7. Architect Vocabulary • Concept: Something that is conceived in the mind.

  8. Architect Vocabulary • Permit: Authorization giving consent to build as presented by the architect.

  9. Architect Vocabulary • Floor Plan: A bird’s eye view of a design.
