  5. A member of the Fandstan Electric Group X STEMMANN-TECHNIK GmbH as systems-supplier for crane- and harbour systems Drives, supply- and control units on crane systems have to be reliably fed via flexible energy- and control cables. By means of the systems cable reel, cable festooned system and slipring assembly STEMMANN-TECHNIK GmbH offers high quality- and reliable solutions for all linear and rotational movements in the range of cranes. For several decades now STEMMANN-TECHNIK GmbH has these systems successfully in operation in the international market. The existing experiences in operation are continuously used for specific developments. Besides the advantage of delivering all required systems for the supply of crane travel, crane trolley, spreader-/hook-supply and rotational movements by one company, STEMMANN-TECHNIK GmbH has attached great importance to the integration into the complete system “crane“.

  6. A member of the Fandstan Electric Group X Medium voltage reels for quay cranes Stemmann-Technik GmbH supplies motor cablereels for the power supply of the quay cranes. • Technical data: • feed via low- and medium voltage • cable lengths up to 600 m • cable cross sections of 25 to 95 sqmm • combinations with additional optical fibres for data transmission • reel diameters up to 8 m • travel speeds up to 60 m/min • mounting heights within the crane system of up to 25 m • drive technology via - DTM (direct torque motor) or - FCM (frequency controlled motor)

  7. A member of the Fandstan Electric Group X • Projects successfully accomplished in many harbours world-wide, here some samples: • Project “ECT“ in the Netherlands • Project “PSA“ in Singapore • Project “HHLA“ in Germany • Project “HIT“ in Hong Kong • Project “New York“ in the USA

  13. A member of the Fandstan Electric Group X Medium voltage cable reels for stacking cranes, railway cranes and OHBC (OverHead Bridge Cranes) The electrical supply of these fast travelling dynamical crane systems is one of the specialtiesof Stemmann-Technik GmbH. Also here Stemmann-Technik GmbH is characterised by the robust mechanics in combination with the perfect handling of the electrical control and the integration into the crane system. Here also the FCM-drive technology is used. • Technical data: • medium voltage feedings of 16-70 mm² • combinations with optical fibres for data transmission are used • crane travel speeds up to 240 m/min • reel diameters up to 6.5 m

  14. A member of the Fandstan Electric Group X • Projects successfully accomplished in many harbours world-wide, here some samples: • Project “PSA“ in Singapore (46 reels) • Project “ECT“ in the Netherlands (70 reels) • Project “HHLA“ in Germany (30 reels) • Project “Los Angeles“ in the USA (10 reels) • Project “Yantai“ in China (8 reels)

  15. A member of the Fandstan Electric Group X The new compact fibre optic rotary connector Optical cables are especially job-proven in combination with electrical power transmission. Stemmann-Technik GmbH now offers the second generation, the especially compact fibre optic rotary connector. Due to the small outer dimensions the rotary connector is especially suitable for the use on spreader cable reels and stacking- / railway cranes, and it is resistant to vibritions. As for the successful predecessor we can proceed from a maintenance-free operation of more than 10 years.

  16. A member of the Fandstan Electric Group X • Technical data: • 40, 80, 120 and 300 effective turns • max. 32 fibres parallel, combinations of single mode and multi-mode are possible • digital and serial interfaces, as well as interfaces for the transmission of video-/ audio-transmission systems and networks are available • serial interfaces V 24, V 11, RS 232, RS 422 and 20 mA • digital transmission systems with transmission rates of 20 kbit/s to 50 Mbit/s • video-/audio-transmission systems • networks

  20. A member of the Fandstan Electric Group X Spreader cable reels of STEMMANN-TECHNIK GmbH Especially in the ambitious range of spreader cable reels during the last years Stemmann-Technik GmbH has acquired a brilliant reputation in the international market. The successes are based on technically neat and robust version of the mechanical components in combination with the electrical drive technology. Here, Stemmann-Technik GmbH has consequently developed and used the FCM-technology. Only by this the high requirements to the dynamics of the spreader cable reels could be managed. We have made experiences within this range since mid of the 1990s. Stemmann-Technik GmbH supplies complete electrical controls with software / integration into the crane-PLC and commissioning.

  21. A member of the Fandstan Electric Group X • Technical data: • cable lengths up to 80 m • number of cores and cross section acc. to specifications • combination with optical fibres for the data transmission is possible • hoisting speeds up to 210 m/min A special cable fix-point for a cable-sparing attachment on the head block is supplied by Stemmann Technik. Acc. to the installation situation spiral or cylindrical reel bodies are used. For the cylindrical cable reels we recommend a spooling device.

  22. A member of the Fandstan Electric Group X • Projects successfully accomplished in many harbours world-wide, here some samples: • Project “ECT“ in the Netherlands • Project “PSA“ in Singapore • Project “HHLA“ in Germany • Project “Yantai“ in China • Project “Long Beach“ in the USA (California) • Project “Wai Gao Qiao“ in China In the last 3 years we have supplied more than 100 spreader cable reels.
