  2. Schoology&Googlelog on procedures • Go to Schoology.com • Sign up for an account • ask me for the accessAccess code • (use id number @carteretschools.org) • Password: (4 digit) • Google • Log into your google account • Jin your class • Ask me for the access code

  3. Classroom Rules • 1) There is absolutely no talking when Mr Farrar, or is speaking to the class. • 2)There absolutely no talking when a student is answering a question, presenting a project ect. • 3)When I want the attention of the class I will say “Immediate silence please.”

  4. Classroom rules (continued) • If an individual continues to talk when they are not supposed to they will receive 3 warnings: • Warning 4 seat is changed. • Warning 5 you are isolated. • Warning 6 You are tabbed to iss • Warning 7 you are sent to iss with a referral.

  5. Classroom rules (continued) • If a group continues to talk when they are not supposed to,they will receive 3 warnings: • Warning 4 your group is disbanded…permenantly.

  6. Classroom rules (continued) • If the class continues talk when it’s not supposed to it will receive 3 warnings • Warning 4:1 page essay will be assigned. • Warning 5:2 page essay (quiz grade) • Warning 6:3 page essay(test grade)

  7. Classroom rules (continued) • Behaviors that result in immediate disciplinary • Action: • 1)Fighting • 2)Running • 3)hitting • 4pushing • 5 profanity • 6)Harrassing,mocking,intimidating or threatening another student. • 7)Chromebook mismanagement • Gum chewing(If you’ve made it a big deal)

  8. Classroom rules • Arguing only makes things worse(I’ll explain)

  9. Grading policy • Tests 50% • Projects 40% • Homework 10% • I do accept make up work • I do accept extra credit. • I am available for extra help
