  • A State…shall not make available publicly on the Internet any information regarding the registration, filing of a petition for, or issuance of a protection order…if such publication would be likely to publicly reveal the ID or location of the party protected under such order.
  • A State …may share court-generated and law enforcement-generated information contained in secure, governmental registries for protection order enforcement purposes.
pennsylvania s response to victim confidentiality
AOPC’s Electronic Case Record Public Access Policy issued on January 1, 2007

Sets forth parameters for public access and inspection of electronic case records.

Provides that victim information including name, address and other contact information in an electronic record is not accessible by the public.

Applies to CPCMS, MDJS and PACMS only.
