  2. a grammatical blend? • As a sentential adverb nemake (like other sentential adverbs: nusate ‘recently’, khare ‘indeed, true enough’) shows ‘copy-verb’ agreement with whatever noun in the clause is in the nominative. This pattern is mentally activated when speakers use nemake in its NP-internal adjectival function of ‘exactly’ when modifying an interrogative noun.
