What are Antihypertensive drugs Are drugs used to control High Blood Pressure.
Antihypertensives are drugs that are used to treat hypertension or high blood pressure. Sometimes hypertension has no know cause which is called “ essential hypertension” “secondary hypertension” these may be caused by underlying conditions such as kidney disease, sleep apnea, serotonin syndrome.
There are two types of hypertension there is Primary Hypertension and Secondary Hypertension. With PrimaryHypertension most adults do have any identifiable causes, It tends to develop over several years. SecondaryHypertension can be caused by an underlining condition, this type of high blood pressure usually comes on suddenly and can cause higher blood pressure then the Primary Hypertension. Some types of conditions that can lead to this type of hypertension are: Kidney problems, Illegal drugs such as cocaine or amphetamines, certain congenital blood vessel defects. Types of Hypertension
You can have antihypertensive drugs that act on adrenergic control for blood pressure these types include Beta adrenergic blocking agents such as: Propranolol Methyldopa Vasodilators Types of Antihypertensive Drugs

You can experience weakness, leg cramps. Eating foods that contain potassium can help prevent significant loss. Some people suffer from attacks of gout with prolonged treatment of diuretics. Possible side effects from using diuretics
Side effects from using the Inhibitors are things such as diarrhea, headache and joint pain. You may also experience chills, trouble breathing or jaundice. Side effects of Beta Blockers: they stop adrenaline from stimulating the beta receptors. The main side effects can be fatigue, dizziness and weakness.
