Active Aging 2 year programme - Looking at the impact of worklessness and unemployment for people over 50 living in the western area of the county of Herefordshire • Examining the effectiveness and quality of existing support, information and advice • -Identifying initiatives and potential solutions for people over 50

This then becomes a Non-equivalent control group design with pre-tests (Raa) > Oa1 > Xa> Oa2 Random selection pre-test independent post-test variable

Active Aging (Partner logo) Local evaluation SOCIAL CAPITAL Sequential analysis of a variety of measurements: Social networks (Antonnucci, Phillipson,Wenger) Social capital (UK Census, BHPS, Resource Generators Boase and Wellman) Skills and education Economic circumstances Satisfaction with life (Diener) Quality of life Occupational status Life time occupational status All valid and reliable tools And possibly others ……
