December is here!
The weather outside is frightful...
...but our drinks are so delightful!
Hey everyone! For those who didn’t stop by last week to
see for themselves we are glad to announce that we have
finally decked the bar in holiday cheer! We hung lights all
around and Manager Kelly brought a special touch to our
front window by decorating it with wrapped presents and
stockings. If you come by this week and see them make
sure to let Kelly know she did an awesome job!
This weekend we had an amazing time with everyone that got to come by! The bartenders were
making drinks left and right and the dance floor was moving and grooving till close. Friday we got
to celebrate Leah’s birthday! Her and all of her friends came by for drink specials and no cover,
we can’t wait to see them all again soon. As one of DC’s best birthday spots we are always
celebrating, whether it’s your 21st birthday or your 41st birthday we are there to help you throw
the party. We have our Birthday Bash coming up on Saturday the 26th so if you’re a December
baby go on our website to sign up for a spot. Space is limited so sign up soon to guarantee a spot!
Saturday night was slam packed! We had tons of people coming by for our late night happy hour
and for birthday parties. We were also honored to host seniors from George Washington
University’s basketball team. They came by with friends and family to help celebrate their
amazing season thus far. DJ Dior was on the 1’s and 2’s all night and as a GWU alumni and
former basketball team member himself everyone couldn’t have had more fun!
We finished off the weekend with an outstanding win by the Eagles against the Patriots! Our fans
came by and we all cheered so loud that the Eagles players themselves must have heard us! We
can’t wait for this Sunday’s game against the Bills to see if we can pull off another amazing win.
We will also be hosting a fundraiser during this week’s game to raise money for the St. Baldrick’s
Foundation. Fans, customers and staff will all be shaving their heads to help raise money for this
amazing cause. If you’re interested in signing up or would like more information contact Kevin at
Also coming up this week, on Wednesday Blue Moon is hosting a Gingerbread House competition
here in our semi-private back bar area. There will be prizes for the first and second place houses!
Teams can register beforehand with Ali at firstname.lastname@example.org. Sign up soon as only 4
teams are allowed to participate!!
Then Thursday, our long time bartender Mike Heller will be dressing up as Santa to help collect
toys for the Marine Corps Toys for Tots event! Come by with a new, unwrapped toy for a child in
need and you’ll get ½ off drinks from 6-9pm. Plus who wouldn’t want to have their drinks made
by Santa and support a great cause at the same time!
As always if you have any birthday party venue/event inquires or other general questions don’t
hesitate to reach out to kelly at email@example.com or give us a call at 202-785-1110.
We look forward to seeing everyone this week!
