Teknikcollege – Description and purpose WHAT IS TEKNIKCOLLEGE • Teknikcollege is a network of competence centres in which companies collaborate with municipalities and providers in regard to technology-oriented courses at different levels. Courses at Teknikcollege are quality-assured on the basis of ten criteria. The companies of a region play a key role in shaping the structure of the courses as well as designing their actual content. WHAT DOES TEKNIKCOLLEGE OFFER For Students • Teknikcollege offers attractivevocationaleducation and trainingthatcanleaddirectlyto a job on the completion studies or provide a good basis for furtherstudies, e.gvariousengineeringcourses. For Companies • Teknikcollege helps to secure the needs for skilled workers within industrial companies. For Society • Collaborationwithothermunicipalities and different providers ofeducation and trainingguaranteeseffectiveuseofresources as far as municipalitiesareconcerned.

Continuous contact is made between the student, supervisor and APL teacher. Responsible teachers visit APL place on several occasions. Tutors introduces the student to the workplace. Informs about local risks. Safety officers informed. Checklist are reviewed. Monitoring and evaluation is done by the supervisor and the student.
