  1. INTRODUCTION TASK PROCESS RESOURCES ASSESSMENT CONCLUSION CINEMA INTRODUCTION The brothers Louis and Auguste Lumiere, from France, are generally credited as the inventors of projected film. Using their Cinematographe camera/projector, moving images could be viewed on a large cinema screen. On December 28 1895, the Lumiere brothers promoted their invention projecting films onto a screen at the Grand Café in Paris. It was the world’s first movie premiere. The first film showed workers leaving the Lumière factory and lasted about 46 seconds. The brothers said that "the cinema is an invention without any future“ They were wrong… Now more than 100 years past the first projection, audiences are still enjoying the show… Now we have many different film genres and we can choose from a very big variety of films to enjoy ourselves. Could you imagine life without films? What is your favourite type of film? Why do you enjoy it? Now it’s time for you to try to convince us that your favourite film is the best film ever!
