  2. La Revolución Mexicana ha sido probablemente el proceso histórico de mayor importancia de la historia de México desde la conquista española. Fue un enfrentamiento de gran complejidad. Distintos grupos sociales con demandas y objetivos muy diferentes se aunaron en la rebelión contra el Porfiriato. Pero una vez ganada esa primera lucha, se agravaron los enfrentamientos entre los diferentes grupos revolucionarios. Así México se vio sumido durante unos diez años en una profunda guerra civil.
