Professional Development Survey Results • Adding 8 Additional PD Banked Tuesdays • Agree = 54.8 • Disagree = 45.2 • Department lead PD with district modules during a conference a month = 53.6 • School wide PD on District modules and additional days are focused on school wide survey topics = 46.4

PD Format • Groups • Department Grade Specific Groups • Departments Should be in Groups to Cover as Many Grade Levels • Select a Room • Each Department Group Determines Pacing • Minimum of One New Unit Per Semester • Template has a Suggested Minimum Pacing • Selection of School Modules • Individual Department Groups Determine Need • Groups are not mandate to attend school modules (must demonstrate adequate progress) • Selection is done one week in advance (May ask the presenter to focus on specific area of need … Charts) • Groups can select from the six suggested or request support in an additional area of need • Teachers who attend or have attended Conferences will be asked to develop special engagement lessons (One time Offering)

PD Format • Things to Submit Per PD • Department Planning Template with Reflection (typically last 5 to 10 minutes) • Unit Planners (by Group) and Lessons (by Individual or Group) when Appropriate • PD Routine • Report to the Miami Room for General Announcements and Questions • Break out Modules
