  2. What will be examined. • Where we have been:What the website was prior to the 2007-2008 school year. • Where we are presently:What is the status of the site currently. We will showcase improvements, trends, and the vision for the site. • Where we can go:Plans for further enhancements and gathering of suggestions.

  3. Where we have been.. The website first went online in 2003. It has gone through four major overhauls in style and design. 2003 -2004 2005-2006

  4. Where we are presently • All academic departments have a web presence. • The website has a system for communicating current information to its users; the news page, parent page, departmental news on the department site, etc. • A student page with links to galleries of school events, current news of interest to them, and district resources such as the student portal and virtual school log-in. • A gallery page with images provided from yearbook and other sources of school events. • ESAC and ICC meeting minutes are online. • All clubs have a listing on the site (although not an active page). • A page with links to school reunions and alumni. • Features unique to our school site, such as ‘Read it First’ on the Media Center page. • A clear organization strategy has been laid out for the foundation of the site.

  5. A major part of the enhancements made this year has been in the organization of the site. The foundation of the site was redone from scratch with an eye to making the site more functional. Folders for each department were created.

  6. Where we can go • To improve communication regarding school related news and events; example – scores for sporting events. • To have all class syllabi featured on the site. • To build pages for elective courses to help promote them online, thus creating an online curriculum carrousel. • All clubs to have an updated and active page. • Coordination with web design class. • An online school newspaper and literary magazine. • An interactive map of the school. • Unique web content to assist students and teachers on how to use their portal, and other technology. • Enhancements to the password-protected employee section of the site.
