Brasher Falls- Achievement Strategies • We will evaluate, align and pledge the school community, financial and physical resources necessary to achieve our strategic goals en route to our mission. • We will inspire students, staff and all other members of our community to embrace, commit to, and achieve our strategic goals en route to our mission. • We will communicate with and engage our school community to develop, implement and monitor our strategic plan and meet or exceed our goals. Brasher Falls- Focus for Success We will only accept, implement or continue programs or services that: • are consistent with and contribute to our mission; • are staffed and funded sufficiently; • include an implementation plan with designated authority and accountability; • are accompanied by the means to assess its effectiveness. Additionally, they work with the Strategic Partners and Board of Education.

Strategic Planning Team Plan for Strategic Action Core Beliefs We believe that: • Everyone will strive for continual success. • Everyone is accountable for their actions. • Everyone will learn in a safe, respectful, and supportive environment. • Everyone will adapt to changing situations. • Everyone is valued, can learn, and has something to offer. • The success of our school will influence the success of our community. Elementary School Strategic Goal #1 • By June 2015, each student will meet or exceed the expectations of the curriculum of the Brasher Falls Central School District and the Common Core Learning Standards leading to graduation with a Regents diploma. Measurable Result 1.1: Every student will read at grade level at the end of the second grade and each grade thereafter. Measurable Result 1.2: All grade 3-4 students will score 3-4 on the New York State ELA and mathematics assessments. Added by Strategic Partner/Planner Teams January 29, 2014

  11. Elementary School Strategic Goal # 3 • By June 2015, each student will have demonstrated the adaptability and problem solving skills necessary to thrive in the global community. Middle School Strategic Goal #1 • By June 2015, each student will meet or exceed the expectations of the curriculum of the Brasher Falls Central School District and the Common Core Learning Standards leading to graduation with a Regents diploma. Measurable Result 1.3: Each middle school student will read and solve math problems at or above grade level by the end of the 5th grade and at each grade thereafter. Measurable Result 1.4: Each middle school student will show annual yearly academic growth. Measurable Result 1.5: Each student will achieve proficiency (3) or mastery (4) on all local and state assessments. Added by Strategic Partner/Planner Teams January 29, 2014

  13. Middle School Strategic Goal #2 • By December 2015, each student will participate in and contribute to his/her community. High School Strategic Goal #1 • By June 2015, each student will meet or exceed the expectations of the curriculum of the Brasher Falls Central School District and the Common Core Learning Standards leading to graduation with a Regents diploma. Measurable Result 1.6: By June 2015, the graduation rate will increase to 100%. Measurable Result 1.7: By June 2015, each student will achieve proficiency (3) or mastery (4) on all Regents Exams.
