ALL ABOUT CARL WARNER ! • Carl Warner Was Born In Liverpool England in 1963. • He moved to Kent at the age of seven where as an only child he spent hours in his room drawing and creating worlds from his imagination having been inspired by artist such as Salvador Dali . • Carl Began his career by going to art college with a view to becoming an illustrator, but quickly discovered that he was better suited to photography as a faster and more exciting medium in which to work.

  3. His Food Art • He Makes Picture’s Out of only Food items. • Every part of the scenes he makes are created with different types of food. • The Food Landscape is then Photographed and each ingredient is labeled alphabetically. • Two Famous artworks : Mushroom Pit & Meat Waterfall

  4. Can you guess the ingredients? Cheese, noodles, mushrooms, nuts, beans, parsley, basil, olives, garlic Broccoli, bread, sugar and sprouts Cookies, icing, chocolate, vanilla pods

  5. Images of the real food as Carl arranges and photographs it. The photographs give a polished look to the food sculpture and they don’t smell! • e These images can take from three to five days to build and be photographed. Each scene is photographed in layers from foreground to background. The process is very time-consuming, and so the food quickly wilts under the lights.
