  5. Outcome: • Health promotion based education and study courses within various levels of nursing education for caring the patients with long term illnesses and disabilities

  6. 1. Diabetes mellitus I type in children • Future: Diabetes mellitus II type, c/v diseases, rheumatological diseases • Teacher training (Pirkanmaa, Tallinn, Nizni Novgorod) • Student training: Education of children in different age periods • Education of children and families

  7. elective course for nursing and midwifery students (3 ECTS): lectures – 8 hours, seminars 12 hours, independent work 20 hours, practical work 40 hpours • 2005/2006 - pilot course: 15 students

  8. Classwork in Tallinn Health College • (lectures, seminars, preparation of portfolios) • Practical placements in diabetes day care hospital ÕUNAKE and in the summercamp near the Võru

  9. In Russia every yyear together: • Teacher training • Student training • Children training • Families training

  10. Meetings for the analysis of project phases and dissemination seminars: • September – in Russia • May – in Estonia
