FB Fan Page From Scratch • You can choose Local Business or Place OR Company Organization or Institution. • IT MAKES NO DIFFERENCE!!!!! • I usually choose Local Business or Place because it allows me to include my phone number in the set up. • As far as growing fans, posting ENGAGING content, branding yourself….they work the same.

  8. FB Fan Page From Scratch • I have found that if you choose Local Business or Place, Facebook will allow you to set the vanity name right away** **Most of the time. I am not sure why it does some times and not other, but it works a majority of the time.

  16. FB Fan Page From Scratch ** Facebook and ALL browsers have made a recent update to their internet security features. Tab can not longer show external content that is not “Secured” content. This change means we can no longer simply use the URL address of the page we want to display. We must build the tab’s view with HTML.
