As Ballard Sports, we specialize in the development, design and construction of synthetic turf athletic fields, natural grass athletic fields and running track and field events facilities. Each of these types of facilities has their own unique set of requirements which must be met to achieve a superior facility. Ballard Sports is fully familiar with these requirements and incorporates them into each facility with which we are involved.

4. Ballard Sports has an extensive inventory of modern construction equipment and machinery. Ballard Sports has invested heavily in automated equipment for many years. Our laser controlled equipment enables our operators to produce grading results which are extremely accurate. This means fields with uniform surfaces and planarity.The range of services that Ballard Sports provides means we build your facility with our own personnel from start to finish. We routinely provide design, rough site grading, site drainage, perimeter curb, under field liner and panel drains, turf stone base system and full synthetic turf installation complete with game markings. 6. Ballard Sports designed and built three fields in less than 90 days for the Collier County School District in Naples, Florida. Reference: David Nara (239) 377-0055

7. Cherokee Central Schools Cherokee, North Carolina Ballard Sports designed and built a synthetic turf football stadium, a 400 meter running track with a natural grass stickball field, two natural grass baseball fields and two natural grass softball fields. 8. Manley Field House Syracuse, NY Ballard Sports was the general contractor for the reconstruction of the Manley Field House at Syracuse University. Ballard Sports converted the existing basketball arena into a football , lacrosse and field hockey facility. Reference: Pete Sala (315) 952-5021

9. Ransom Everglades School Miami, Florida Ballard Sports constructed a synthetic turf football, soccer, lacrosse field on Biscayne Bay, as a design/build project. Reference: Andy D’Angulo (305) 321-5179

10. Calvert Hall College High School Baltimore, Maryland Ballard Sports constructed a full size baseball field. This baseball field was awarded 2009 BCA/Profile National High School Field of the Year at the Tucson National Convention Hall of Fame Awards Dinner on December 4, 2009. 11. St. Thomas Aquinas High School / Brian Piccolo Memorial Stadium Ft. Lauderdale, Florida Ballard Sports designed and constructed a synthetic turf football & soccer stadium with running track for one of the nation’s top high school programs. 12. University of West Virginia / Mountaineer Stadium Morgantown, West Virginia Ballard Sports installed the synthetic turf at Mountaineer Stadium, home to one of the premier Big East football teams. Reference: Russ Sharp (304) 293-2101

13. The Ripken Experience Myrtle Beach, S.C Ballard Sports was the General Contractor on this 50+ acre site. Ballard Sports constructed seven replica baseball fields and six practice areas all with synthetic turf. Reference: Cal Ripken Jr (410) 823-0808

14. Marshall University Huntington, West Virginia Ballard Sports installed the synthetic turf at Marshall University prior to Warner Brothers filming the movie “We Are Marshall”.

15. Camden County High School / Chris Gilman Stadium Kingsland, Georgia Ballard Sports built and installed the synthetic turf field at Chris Gilman Stadium and the adjacent running track and field events. 17. University of Virginia Charlottesville, Virginia Ballard Sports constructed two synthetic turf football practice fields and one lacrosse practice field. The UVA lacrosse team won the National Title the following year.
