  3. The Build up • What happens? • The little old man and woman wait hungrily for the gingerbread man to cook. • The little old woman opens the oven door… • The Gingerbread man leaps out of the oven! • The little old man and woman chase him, ……..YELLING • (altogether now!!)

  4. The Events • What happens next? • Running down the lane he meets… • They all chase him…..yelling (altogether now!)

  5. The Dilemma • What problem does the Gingerbread Man face? Everyone is chasing him because…. They want to eat him! He reaches the river… OH NO! How will he get across???

  6. The Resolution and ending! • Well… we all know what happens in the traditional tale, don’t we? • But this is a tale with a twist! The ending is up to youuuuuuuuuuuuuu!
