  2. Modern shakespeare • There are many ways to make Shakespeare relevant and interesting to the modern student: • Use the internet! It’s filled with podcasts, blogs, cartoons, clips from modern film adaptations, etc., and your students will enjoy any online excursions during class. • Find comic adaptations, such as comic books, skits, and parodies. • Follow the text with a modern film adaptation. • Use graphs, maps, drawings, anything in your repertoire that will help illustrate Shakespeare’s complicated relationships and plot lines more clearly. • This presentation will give you plenty of resources, online and off, so get ready!
