  4. Hypothesis An idea or explanation that you test by conducting an experiment – educated guess

  5. Data the information gained from observing and testing an experiment

  6. Analyze = Review Was your hypothesis correct? Incorrect? Information you use to come up with your conclusion

  7. Constants The things that are the same between the two objects or things you are testing.

  8. Variable Variable - something that you may or may not change to see how it affects the results.

  9. Independent Variable The variable(s) that youCAN change in the experiment

  10. Dependent Variable This changes as a result of the Independent Variable
