  1. Ninja Graphing Histograms

  2. Difference ??? Histogram Bar Graph

  3. Histograms • Histograms are very similar to simple bar graphs with one exception--- the bar represents a range of values rather than one single value. • intervals must all be of equal magnitude

  4. Brook silverside

  5. What’s Wrong?

  6. What does the rubric mean? • Scaled to fit paper = margins on all sides are less than 5 cm (not exactly but less than) • Each square on the graph paper should have the same value for each axis (for example x- axis each box could be 5 units/box and y axis could be 25 units/ box) but you cannot change values along the axis

  7. Whats Wrong?

  8. Whats Wrong?

  9. Scaled to fit Paper • How much space is left on paper?

  10. Ninja Graphing Line Graphs

  11. Variables / which axis? • Dependent variable – what you measure • Independent variable – what is changed Identify the dependent and independent variable

  12. The Hypothesis • If independent variable, then dependent variable. • Write a hypothesis for this problem.

  13. X or Y axis • Label the x and y axis correctly

  14. Extrapolation
