  20. PLACES of INTEREST 26 Feb - 2 Mar 2001 Religious festivals Batu Caves is famous especially during the annual Thaipusam festival. The main Temple Cave has a ceiling that looms 100 metres high, and features ornate Hindu shrines. To reach it, visitors have to climb a steep flight of 272 steps, a feat performed by as many as 100,000 devotees during Thaipusam. Holiday resorts Morib Beach is quaint little sea side spot, small but manages to attract many visitors especially during the weekends
