  7. Why the heart? • 2Sa 24:10 And David's heart condemned him after he had numbered the people. • Pro 4:23 Keep your heart with all diligence,For out of it spring the issues of life

  8. Examine your heart • Psa 26:2 Examine me, O LORD, and prove me;Try my mind and my heart.

  9. Heart investigations through the bible 2Ti 3:16 All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness,

  10. Could the old heart be treated? • Mat 9:16 “No one puts a piece of unshrunk cloth on an old garment; for the patch pulls away from the garment, and the tear is made worse.

  11. New heart • Eze 36:26 “I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; I will take the heart of stone out of your flesh and give you a heart of flesh. • Psa 51:10 Create in me a clean heart, O God,And renew a steadfast spirit within me

  12. God • Deu 6:5 • “You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength. Jhn 14:24 “He who does not love Me does not keep My words; and the word which you hear is not Mine but the Father's who sent Me.

  13. My family • Eph 5:33 • Nevertheless let each one of you in particular so love his own wife as himself, and let the wife see that she respects her husband.
