  6. Serving God with Love • Love is the motivation • If we truly love Him we will keep His commandments A. What should be our motivation for service as disciples? John 14:15

  7. Serving God with Love • Inspired by Jesus, she began her service immediately upon recovery • In what ways should the whole Christian life be a response to what Jesus has done for us? B. How did Peter’s mother-in-law, after her recovery, respond to the kindness of Jesus? Matt. 8:14, 15

  9. Bring others to Jesus A. What insights does the story of the paralytic teach about discipleship in action? Luke 5:17-26 • Because of their faith, they did everything to bring the paralytic to Jesus • After the paralytic was healed, he left glorifying God

  10. Bring others to Jesus B. What promises do we have as we embark on the work of discipleship? Matthew 28:18-20 • Jesus promises the authority or power given to Him in heaven and in earth • He will be with us until the end of the world

  11. SUMMARY • By Serving God and others with love • By bringing others to Jesus We can have a living faith that works
