Overview • OneEPA Web = shift from organization by organization (!) to organization by topic w/ more reliance on metadata • April 2010 – organization pages debuted http://www.epa.gov/aboutepa/#offices and http://www.epa.gov/aboutepa/#regional • Existing homepages for Offices and Regions need to come down by February 1, 2011

  4. We need your help • Identify what content needs to be on the new page (About [YourOrg]) • Work with us to make sure the new page is accurate and complete • Make .htaccess redirect to point to new page • Take down your existing home page

  7. The Base Model: • Links to your most important programs and initiatives • Links to services and info resources • List of organization components, including director contact info and top activities for each • A page for your lab (if you are a Region)

  8. The Base Model: • A page for your org chart (will be printable) • A page for your RA’s or AA’s bio • Feed displaying your latest news releases

  9. The Options Package • Map of your Region • Slideshow of photos representing your Region and its work • Feed displaying “highlights” (feature stories) • A page for visitor information

How to get there • Take a look at your organization’s About page • Send corrections to Karen and James; we’ll fix those right away • Is there anything that should be removed? • What would you like to see added? • (Optional) Ask us to do a general content inventory of your top level and advise you on what to migrate. Offer good through end of December.
