  4. Rates of reactions are just as important to you as they are to industrial and chemical engineers

  5. Industrial and chemical engineers are not satisfied with just turning one substance into another. The want to obtain products as rapidly , easily and cheaply as possible. To do this they must understand how chemical reactions work!
