  1. Bell Work: August 13, 2012 • In your notebook, date your bell work as 8/13/12. Then, answer the following question. Be honest! • Do you think that school is important for all teenagers? Why or why not? Give specific reasons.

  3. Bell Work, con’t. • Answer the following questions based on your reaction to the video. 1. According to the narrator, why is a free, public education valuable to the world? 2. What have been the results of free public education over the past 200 years? 3. Your opinion: Do you think that students in the US should be forced to go to school until they’re 18? Why or why not?
