Día 1 meet your Host families

•provide all meals

•speak Spanish

•2 students in each home

Granada, Nicaragua


Daily language sessionsNicaraguita language School

•native speaker teacher for 3 to 5 students

•structure, conversation and practicalities

•personal attention and language practice


Día 2

•Centro Historico walking tour

•Boat ride on LagoCocibolcaview isletas

•visit a local elementary school


Día 3

•Mombacho Volcano

•Hike the crater trail

•Volunteer at the

Nicaragua Libre Community Project


Día 4

•Pueblos Blancos

•Catarina Flower Market

•Pottery and Bamboo Artisans

•Afternoon language session overlooking Laguna de Apoyo Crater Lake


Día 5

•Coyotepec Fortress,

waterfront

•Hammock workshops

•Mercado de Artesanías

•Evening Verbena: fokloric dances, music, traditional Nicaraguan food


Día 6

•Mercado Municipal

•Cooking lesson with host families

•Dance lesson including Merengue, Reguettón, y Palo de Mayo


Día 7

•Visit a local project for a full day of volunteering


•Farewell to host families

•Early morning transfer to Managua’s International Airport to return to the USA

Initial deposit due Monday, November 4, 2013$350.00

•2nd payment due March 4th, 2014$900.00

•Remaining balance due May 4th, 2014$545.00
