  3. Support AF Systems Engineering Revitalization • SMC • Mandated use of selected acquisition and space standards • Requires reinstatement of some canceled standards, e.g. • MIL-STDs 1546/1547, Space Parts Mgmt

  4. Support AF Systems Engineering Revitalization (Cont) • ASC • ASC/EN Commitment:  Revitalize Specs & Standards! • Because of the important nature of this technical knowledge base and its roles… • An input to the SE process • A vehicle for Tech Transition • A technological repository for lessons learned • Protecting the “Future” in… Birthplace, Home and Future of Aerospace…
