  2. Type of customer • The customer was a slow/methodical customer at a cafe in Detroit.

  3. How to handle the customer • You need to give slow/methodical customers time and space to make there decisions.

  4. The conversation • Customer: “What is the best thing in the menu.” • Waitress: “ I think the French Toast is really good, it has a choice of strawberries and bannanas or chocolate chips with it and is topped off with powdered sugar on top.”

  5. Customer: “ Let me think about it I don’t know what I want right now can yougo around the table the other wayplease.” • Waitress: “ Ok sir.”

  6. Waitress is now done going around table. • Waitress: “ Are you ready sir?” • Customer: “ I think I'm going to get the French Toast with strawberries and bananas thank you.”

  7. The customer was a slow/methodical customer because he couldn’t figure out what he wanted to get for breakfast. I think the waitress handled it pretty well and told him what her favorite meal was and went around and took everybody else's orderbefore taking his.
