  2. Nouns Declensions • Be able to recognize and decline first, second and third declension nouns • (i.e . Puella, ae f. ; vilicus, i m; senex, senis m)

  3. Adjectives • Be able to recognize and decline: • First and second declension adjectives • Third declension ajectives • (bonus-a-um; ingens, ingentis)

  4. Adjective agreement • Know that adjectives must agree with a noun in number, gender and case.

  5. Adjective agreement • Know that nouns and adjectives have the same endings ONLY when they are in the same declension (bona puella; magnus taurus)

  6. Adjective Agreement • Explain why “Ingensdomina” agrees but looks different.

  7. Prepositions and the ablative Case • Prepositions are small words which express place/time etc. Learn these words and know they are always followed by a word in the ablative: • Sub, In, de, sine, pro, ab/a, cum, ex/e (page 40)

  8. a/ab • e/ex are like a/an in English.

  9. Translate • Cogidubnus in aula est.

  10. Translate • Cogidubnus cum dominiscotidie se lavat.

  11. Translate • Rufilla de Vesuvio cum maritoambulat.
