DRAFT 2010 State of Michigan Educational Technology Plan

Join the webinar presentations to provide feedback on the DRAFT 2010 Michigan Educational Technology Plan. The plan aims to align with the Michigan School Improvement Framework and address areas like teaching for learning, leadership, digital citizenship, and data-driven decisions. Input from the Educational Technology Advisory Group (ETAG) will be considered. Language has been tightened and clarified, and the plan serves as a model for various educational institutions. Approved plans are eligible for the Federal Communication Commission's eRate program. Key topics include professional learning, school and community relations, data and information management, broadband access, and funding. The plan also reports on measures of progress and technology effectiveness, such as personnel skilled in technology, technology literacy of eighth-grade students, and technology integration in curriculum. The plan includes standards for teachers, standards for students, seat time waivers, assessment items, federally funded programs, and public comment opportunities.
