  1. Tzav צו “command” Leviticus 6:1-8:36

  2. [Mat 5:23-24 KJV] 23 Therefore if thou bring thy gift to the altar, and there rememberest that thy brother hath ought against thee; 24 Leave there thy gift before the altar, and go thy way; first be reconciled to thy brother, and then come and offer thy gift.

  3. 3 Stages of Olive Oil The Rashbam (DH ha'Reichayim) explains that the process of pressing olives for oil consisted of three stages: CRUSHING - the olives were crushed in a machine called a "Mamal" or "Mifrachta," GRINDING - what was left of the olives was ground to a pulp. PRESSING - the pulp was then placed inside of "Netzarim" (a.k.a. "Akalim") and left under the weight of the pressing beam ("Korah") while the oil that was left in the pulp drained out.

  4. 2 Cor. 12:2 I knew a man in Messiah above fourteen years ago, (whether in the body, I cannot tell; or whether out of the body, I cannot tell: God knoweth;) such an one caught up to the third heaven. Third Heaven The throne of God. The place where YHVH abides. The true temple rests Second Heaven The Heavenlies/The place where Good and Evil Angels wage war- The High places of Spiritual Wickedness etc. First Heaven Visible Universe/Sky/Stratosphere Stars, Planets, Clouds etc.

  5. Our prayers being hindered [Dan 10:12-13 KJV] 12 Then said he unto me, Fear not, Daniel: for from the first day that thou didst set thine heart to understand, and to chasten thyself before thy God, thy words were heard, and I am come for thy words. 13 But the prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood me one and twenty days:but, lo, Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me; and I remained there with the kings of Persia. Two related Hebrew words, qarov(near) and qrav(battle), which come from the same Hebrew root Q-R-V, shed light on offerings to the Lord.

  6. KravMaga [Psa 144:1 Blessed [be] the LORD my strength, which teacheth my hands to war, [and] my fingers to fight: Contact Combat

  7. Equipped for battle Lev. 16:24 And he shall wash his flesh with water in the holy place, and put on his garments, and come forth, and offer his burnt offering, and the burnt offering of the people, and make an atonement for himself, and for the people. It is in the Holy Place that we are suited for battle… Ephesians 6:10-18 10 Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his might. 11 Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil. 12 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places. 13 Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand firm. 14 Stand therefore, having fastened on the belt of truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, 15 and, as shoes for your feet, having put on the readiness given by the gospel of peace. 16 In all circumstances take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming darts of the evil one; 17 and take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God, 18 praying at all times in the Spirit, with all prayer and supplication. To that end keep alert with all perseverance, making supplication for all the saints,

  8. Equipped for battle The Levitical priests/Cohen had 7 pieces of garments- 7 Holy Garments (bigdeikodesh) Priestly undergarments (michnasayim) Priestly tunic (ketonet) Priestly sash (avnet) Priestly turban (mitznefet) High priest has a gold plate Priestly robe (me'il) Ephod Priestly breastplate (hoshen)

  9. Equipped for battle 7 pieces of armor or battle gear-Armor of God helmet of salvation breastplate of righteousness belt of truth Shod your feet with the preparedness of the gospel shield of faith sword of the spirit (word of God) Prayer 7 Gifts of the Spirit mentioned in 1 Corinth. 12 /Charisma gifts Word of wisdom/knowledge (wisdom, knowledge, understanding) Faith Healing Miracles Prophecy Discerning of spirits Tongues (interpretation) Where do these 7 gifts come from?

  10. …praying at all times in the Spirit

  11. The Power of Prayer [1Sa 12:22-23 KJV] 22 For the LORD will not forsake his people for his great name's sake: because it hath pleased the LORD to make you his people. 23 Moreover as for me, God forbid that I should sin against the LORD in ceasing to pray for you: but I will teach you the good and the right way: [1Th 5:16-19 KJV] 16 Rejoice evermore. 17 Pray without ceasing. 18 In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Messiah Yeshua concerning you. 19 Quench not the Spirit.

  12. Keep the Fire Burning! Lev. 6:12 The fire on the altar shall be kept burning on it; it shall not go out. The priest shall burn wood on it every morning, and he shall arrange the burnt offering on it and shall burn on it the fat of the peace offerings. 13 Fire shall be kept burning on the altar continually; it shall not go out.

  13. Make Your Stand! [Eph 6:11 KJV] 11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. ἐνδύω endyō [Luk 24:49 KJV] 49 And, behold, I send the promise of my Father upon you: but tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem, until ye be endued with power from on high. [Rom 13:12 KJV] 12 The night is far spent, the day is at hand: let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armour of light. μεθοδεία methodeia [Eph 4:14 KJV] 14 That we [henceforth] be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, [and] cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive;

  14. Opportune Time! Luke 4:13 And when the devil had ended every temptation, he departed from him until an opportune time. [1Pe 5:6-8 KJV] 6 Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time: 7 Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you. 8 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: [Luk 22:46 ESV] 46 and he said to them, "Why are you sleeping? Rise and pray that you may not enter into temptation.“ PRAYER PROTECTS US FROM TEMPTATION!!!!

  15. Hedge of Protection [Job 1:7-10 ESV] 7 The LORD said to Satan, "From where have you come?" Satan answered the LORD and said, "From going to and fro on the earth, and from walking up and down on it." 8 And the LORD said to Satan, "Have you considered my servant Job, that there is none like him on the earth, a blameless and upright man, who fears God and turns away from evil?" 9 Then Satan answered the LORD and said, "Does Job fear God for no reason? 10 Have you not put a hedge around him and his house and all that he has, on every side? You have blessed the work of his hands, and his possessions have increased in the land.

  16. Amidah Prayers- Standing [Eph 6:11 KJV] 11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. [Dan 6:10 KJV] 10 Now when Daniel knew that the writing was signed, he went into his house; and his windows being open in his chamber toward Jerusalem, he kneeled upon his knees three times a day, and prayed, and gave thanks before his God, as he did aforetime. [Dan 6:20-22 KJV] 20 And when he came to the den, he cried with a lamentable voice unto Daniel: [and] the king spake and said to Daniel, O Daniel, servant of the living God, is thy God, whom thou servest continually, able to deliver thee from the lions? 21 Then said Daniel unto the king, O king, live for ever. 22 My God hath sent his angel, and hath shut the lions' mouths, that they have not hurt me: forasmuch as before him innocency was found in me; and also before thee, O king, have I done no hurt.

  17. Amidah Prayers- Standing The Amidiah called “The Standing Prayer,” was composed around 450 BCE, by the 120 Men of the GreatAssembly, including Ezra and Nehemiah at the time of the rebuilding of the Temple. It was to be said while standing. Three (3) times a day at the hours of prayer: 9 am, 12 pm and, 3pm. • Torah portions in a year= 54 • Amidah prayers/blessings= 18 • Amidah said 3x per day= 54 • Shacharit- Morning • Mincha- Afternoon • Ma’ariv- Evening We shall thank You and relate Your praise: for our lives, which are committed to Your power, and for our souls that are entrusted to You; for Your miracles that are with us every day; and for Your wonders and favors in every season—evening, morning, and afternoon.

  18. Amidah Prayers- Standing [Act 1:14-15 KJV] 14 These all continued with one accord in prayer and supplication, with the women, and Mary the mother of Yeshua, and with his brethren. 15 And in those days Peter stood up in the midst of the disciples, and said, (the number of names together were about an hundred and twenty,) [Act 2:1, 15 KJV] 1 And when the day of Pentecost/Shavuot was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. ... 15 For these are not drunken, as ye suppose, seeing it is [but] the third hour of the day (9am). [Acts 2:42 ESV] And they devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and the prayers. [Act 3:1 KJV] 1 Now Peter and John went up together into the temple at the hour of prayer, [being] the ninth [hour]. NLT- Peter and John went to the Temple one afternoon to take part in the three o’clock prayer service.

  19. Amidah Prayers- Standing [Act 10:1-2 KJV] 1 There was a certain man in Caesarea called Cornelius, a centurion of the band called the Italian [band], 2 [A] devout [man], and one that feared God with all his house, which gave much alms to the people, and prayed to God always (continually). [Act 10:3-4 KJV] 3 He saw in a vision evidently about the ninth hour (3’oclock) of the day an angel of God coming in to him, and saying unto him, Cornelius. 4 And when he looked on him, he was afraid, and said, What is it, Lord? And he said unto him, Thy prayers and thine alms are come up for a memorial before God. [Act 10:9 KJV] 9 On the morrow, as they went on their journey, and drew nigh unto the city, Peter went up upon the housetop to pray about the sixth hour (Noon):

  20. Amidah Prayers- Standing [Mat 27:45-46 KJV] 45 Now from the sixth hour there was darkness over all the land unto the ninth hour. 46 And about the ninth hour Yeshua cried with a loud voice, saying, Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani? that is to say, My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?

  21. [Luk 12:35-44 KJV] 35 Let your loins be girded about, and [your] lights burning; 36 And ye yourselves like unto men that wait for their lord, when he will return from the wedding; that when he cometh and knocketh, they may open unto him immediately. 37 Blessed [are] those servants, whom the lord when he cometh shall find watching: verily I say unto you, that he shall gird himself, and make them to sit down to meat, and will come forth and serve them. 38 And if he shall come in the second watch, or come in the third watch, and find [them] so, blessed are those servants. 39 And this know, that if the goodman of the house had known what hour the thief would come, he would have watched, and not have suffered his house to be broken through. 40 Be ye therefore ready also: for the Son of man cometh at an hour when ye think not. 41 Then Peter said unto him, Lord, speakest thou this parable unto us, or even to all? 42 And the Lord said, Who then is that faithful and wise steward, whom [his] lord shall make ruler over his household, to give [them their] portion of meat in due season? 43 Blessed [is] that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing. 44 Of a truth I say unto you, that he will make him ruler over all that he hath.
