  2. The UK Dodgeball Association offers the following award UKDBA Mini Leaders Award Provides year 5 & 6 pupils with the opportunity to take their first step onto the leadership pathway. Learn leadership skills and new formats of the sport in a totally practical way. Empowers the mini leaders with the confidence and knowledge to deliver sessions and competitions within their schools to younger age groups and their peers. The Mini Leaders resource booklet details the practices and information that the pupils will learn throughout the course. The Dodgeball Mini Leaders Award can be delivered by your school sport teacher in 2 to 3 hours. The cost of the resource which includes the Mini Leaders certificate which can be given to each child is just £25.

The UK Dodgeball Association offers the following award Dodgeball Leadership Award The Dodgeball Leadership Award puts basic leadership skills such as communication and organisation into a sports specific context, with the aim of training young people so that they can lead others in the sport of Dodgeball. This Award is suitable for young people from the age of 12 regardless of their previous leadership experience. The award consists of 3 modules and the UKDBA can deliver this at your school as either module 3 on its own or as a complete award: Module 1 - Developing Communication Skills Module 2 - Organisational Skills Module 3 - Dodgeball Specific Module Module 3 only Award is 3 hours long at a cost of £16 per student + £100 tutor fee All 3 modules is 6 hours long at a cost of £20 per student + £150 tutor fee

The UK Dodgeball Association offers the following award for teachers UKDBA Introduction to teaching Dodgeball The Introduction to teaching Dodgeball award is designed to provide school teachers with the knowledge to deliver the sport of Dodgeball correctly within their school environment. Teachers will come away with a good understanding of rules, basic tactics, skill practices, variations and the correct equipment to be used. All attendees must be QTS to be certified. A course is paid for in full and then it is responsibility of the school to provide the venue and recruit the candidates. The course is 3 hours and is for a maximum of 20 candidates and can be delivered at a set cost of just £220.

The UK Dodgeball Association offers the following award UKDBA Level 1 in Coaching Juniors Award The new Level 1 in Coaching Juniors Award is available to school children aged 14-16 and can be delivered at your school. The course is an NGB recognised qualification and will enable the successful candidate to lead a session under the guidance of a PE teacher or level 2 coach. Upon completion of the course and after gaining suitable experience of coaching, once 16 they will be able to jump straight to the Level 2 Coaching Award. The course is 4 hours and is a slightly shortened version of the level 1 award. Your school must be an affiliated secondary school to be able to host this award. The course can be delivered at a set cost of just £250 and is for a minimum of 10 and a maximum of 25 students.

The UK Dodgeball Association offers the following award UKDBA Level 1 Coaching Award Candidates enrolling on the UKDBA Level 1 Coaching Award can do so with no prior knowledge of the sport MODULE 1: health and safety, rules, warm ups, tournament games, officiating MODULE 2: coaching styles, basic techniques, basic tactics, demonstrations, observation and feedback MODULE 3: STEP, adapting tasks and games, meeting needs of players ASSESSMENT: Delivery of pre-prepared session plan Duration: 6 hours Cost: £60 per candidate (full price)

  7. The UK Dodgeball Association offers the following award UKDBA Level 2 Coaching Award Must hold a Level 1 in Dodgeball or another sport. UKDBA experienced players are eligible to attend the course. Please contact the course organiser for more details. MODULE 1: health and safety, rules, warm ups, tournament games, officiating – refresher for level 1/new for level 2 course only candidates MODULE 2: conditioning games, reviewing, adapting and creating MODULE 3: advanced techniques, tactics, use of questioning MODULE 4: planning, progression, differentiation, objectives ASSESSMENT: Plan and deliver a part of a session Duration: 8 hours Cost: £100 per candidate (full price)
