  2. WHAT IS BODY WORN VIDEO? Hard-wearing, pioneering security device/camera Works with any uniform Lightweight cameras that can be attached to uniforms.   3. The body worn cameras are VideoBadges from our supplier Edesix in Scotland. You have full control over when the camera is recording. Fully charged, it can record up to eight hours of video and audio. Cameras are collected from and returned to special docks. Weighs 127g. If your camera is lost or stolen, the videos cannot be viewed by a third party. The camera has a 150 degree field of view. It captures video in light as low as 2 lux (candles). ABOUT THE CAMARA (VB-300)

  4. The camera dock areas at your location will be clearly sign-posted! The cameras rest in the docks between shifts. The docks recharge the cameras and move videos from the cameras to the server. Cameras are a pooled resource shared between staff. You might receive a different camera each shift. You will be allocated an RFID tag to allow you to check out a camera in your name. You swipe your tag over the RFID reader to be automatically allocated a camera. When finished for the day, you return the camera, which fits into any available slot. The camera docks (14Slotdock)

  5. When on the dock, the top light flashes green while charging When fully charged, the top light is solid green The vb-300 charging lights

  6. Swipe your RFID tag over the RFID Reader until it beeps. A camera is allocated to you – its top light will go red and the camera will beep repeatedly Take your camera from the dock – you will hear a beep as you lift it. Mount the camera on your uniform and rotate until level. The camera is now ready to record in your name. PLEASE NOTE: IF CAMERA KEEPS BEEPING 3 TIMES, RETURNIT AND START AGAIN. START OF SHIFT [SWIPE AND LIFT]

  7. To start recording [PRESS ONCE] Press any button to start recording. Camera will beep and the front two Lights will glow to show recording is in progress. To stop recording [PRESS and HOLD] Press and hold any button for 3 seconds. You will hear a long beep and the front red lights will go out. DURING SHIFT [WEARING THE VB-300]

  8. To bookmark while recording [PRESS SIDE BUTTONS TOGETHER] You’ll hear a short beep. Bookmarking lets you mark a video for special attention. Videos with a bookmark are given higher priority. DURING SHIFT [WEARING THE VB-300]

Power, standby and low power Quickly understand the current power status of your VideoBadge Power Stand-by Low Power LED will show solid green when the badge on LED will flash green when badge is in stand-by mode (LED can be configured not to flash in Stand-by Mode) LED will show red when power has < 15 minutes remaining

  10. Park camera in any unused dock slot (will beep when docked) To return the camera, remove it from your uniform Rotate croc clip (if fitted), When docked, camera will recharge and automatically push videos to server. PLEASE NOTE: IF IT DOESN’T BEEP, PARK IT AGAIN END OF SHIFT [DOCK AND GO]
