  6. Criteria required to allow the Trackwork Contractors to operate on the IFN • Homologation and registration of the trackwork machines and equipment; • Organization of suitable enterprise; • Personal with certified competences 6

The hinges of the formative system • Acquisition and keeping the competences (lose of qualification if the safety activity is not continuously developed or if not permanently updated); • Qualification of the instructors (included in the register of the accredited instructors) that develop a fundamental role in the processes of maintaining the competences; • Knowledge of the lines and/or of the plants; • The outline of the formative activity, of use of the personnel, of sanitary visits, of distribution of the regulation texts, etc. 7
