Why is it important

Why is it important?

  • Projections indicate significant shortages in our aerospace workforce

  • It is vital to economic growth - 3-5% GDP

  • It is vital to industrial growth - 10 Million jobs

  • It is vital to America

So how do we do this

Youth Aviation Adventure Introducing young people to the exciting world of aviation!

  • The Youth Aviation Adventure Program (YAA) was founded in Columbus, Ohio in 1997 by Dan Kiser and Steve Wathen.

  • Each program typically attracts 150-200 participants.

  • Currently, YAA has over one hundred pilot and other adult volunteers.

  • Kids spend about twenty minutes at each of the nine stations where they participate in discussions and activities.

  • YAA program as a modular, inexpensive, repeatable system that can be transplanted and duplicated anywhere.
