  1. ACCESSING DARK WEB LINKS Dark web links are accessed using specialized browsers known as TOR. It is different from Google Chrome or other surface web browsers. While the mode of operation remains same, TOR browsers parse Onion links, dark web links and with onion extension. They are routed through a series of nodes all over the world. This mode of operation is what makes TOR special. The volunteers may be at different parts of the world. Just like a proxy routes its users, Onion routers take you through different noes. Such an act causes computer users to become untraceable. All of this comes with a cost. Dark web links can be accessed either by their link address or using search engines. Although sites like Hidden wiki try their best to remain active, these weblinks come and go very often. A fully functional webpage may go out completely during a page refresh. Stability has been a concern for dark web users. Connection time outs and 404 errors are also very common in dark net. IDENTIFYING DARK WEB LINKS One of the main differences between surface web pages and dark links is the naming convention itself. Dark web links are like garbage. It is a mix of alphanumeric characters with no meaning at all. The link ends with a. onion extension. TOR has been designed to have a special top level domain suffix. This anonymous service can only be reached using TOR network interfacing. Only browsers that are able to parse these links can visit them. Some of the dark web links available are outdated and unreliable as well. Grams are yet another search engine used for browsing TOR networks. One of the best ideas to visit past websites is to add bookmarks. Because of the naming structure it is often hard to remember. An example would be the infamous commerce site named Dream Market. Scammers who are in the search of fraudulent methods often set up dark web links. Victims of these links are helpless netizens. Therefore, it is once again repeated that newcomers should be very careful before accessing web links provided in TOR networks.

  2. CONCLUSION ON DARK WEB LINKS Dark web links may seem to be harmless. The dynamic nature of TOR is attributed to the fact that they need to change address frequently. A DDoS attempt when failed can easily track back to the attacker. Therefore, frequent address changes are necessary. TOR networks are painstakingly slow. Users will wonder what happened to their 5 or 10 Mbit connection. Browsing dark web links is like a decade or so back. The experience of viewing plain text html pages and page not found redirections will be overwhelming to the younger community. They have only experienced eye candy java script pages that load at the blink of an eye. Safe browsing entails the user to observe certain values. One of them is not to go after any unknown links. No matter how interesting they are. Who knows, what is lurking behind the links. It is also advised to stay clear from any sort of claims including monetary assistance from unknown net users.
