  • Upon completion of the course the student will be able to:

    • Demonstrate a competent knowledge of the basic methods and models of production management and operations research

    • Discuss the various elements of inventory control and demand forecasting

    • Analyze and evaluate the various techniques of operations research

    • Define and illustrate the use of such systems as lean production and computer integrated manufacturing

    • Demonstrate a familiarity with the assigned additional readings
