  33. WHAT CAN YOU DO TO HELP?

  34. You Can Help! Never litter, always pick up your trash. Let your parents know when the sprinklers in your yard are watering the street and sidewalk. Let your parents know if motor oil from their car is leaking onto the road or on your driveway. Pick up after your pets. Reduce, re-use, recycle!

  35. Practice good water habits! Sweep instead of hosing down hard surfaces like driveways. Turn the water off when you are brushing your teeth. Tell your parents if your sprinklers are running while it’s raining. Take shorter showers. Tell your parents if there is a really wet spot in the yard (it might be caused by a leak). Tell your parents if a toilet is running. Think more about using less.

  36. Join Our Team and become a … WATER STEWARD I will NEVER put water down the drain if there is a better use for it.
